How do I remove the stock Monsoon radio in a 2000 VW Golf mk4?

I want to take out my monsoon radio and put in a sony, but I can't figure out how to remove it. you cant intergreat anything into a monsoon system. the only thing you can do is buy new cd player (you have lol) and new speakers. then you have to run new speaker wire to each door to bypass the monsoon system. that's the only way !!!!! sorry!!How do I remove the stock Monsoon radio in a 2000 VW Golf mk4?There are four little slits on the front of the VW radio, you need the removal keys. Just search for VW radio removal keys and see what pops up



And, i cant remember, but there might be an issue with an aftermarket cd player in a monsoon system. Check the forums on vwvortex.com ---there is more info their about your VW than you would ever care to know.
