My car dies everytime the gas gets down to the 1.4 of a tank. Baffles break with age and fuel runs away every time you go round a corner. The tanks were famous for doing this in endurance racing and many were replaced by fuel cells. A good mechanic can ge this fixed but it won't be cheap removing the tank and welding inside it(dangerous to the unskilled)
