What do I need to do to fix the radio on my 2003 VW Passat GLX?

The CD Player plays Cds but every radio station is just static. And I'm sure it isn't in SAFE mode.What do I need to do to fix the radio on my 2003 VW Passat GLX?pull out the radio and see it some how the antenna has been pulled out of the back of it. If it has, just put it back in and reinstall the radio. If it has not, then the antenna may be bad, replace it. If that doesn't work, then the radio probably needs to be replaced.
