Vw oil level check stick pulled out the plastic housing around it inside?

My vw is having a problem. The oil pressure light keeps coming on while turning , or on the highway. even while stopping! What should i do. Today i oopened the dip stick for the oil and some plastic tube came out with it! What should i do what part needs to be replaced and how much will it cost. VW expert mechanics only please. I dont seek an opinion i seek a solution. Thanks alot~Vw oil level check stick pulled out the plastic housing around it inside?Having owned VW Rabbit's since 1981, and Jetta TDI's since 2002, I can only tell you that on one occasion I had the same experience with some of the plastic tube coming out when I lifted the dipstick to check the oil. What did I do? I put it back in and never worried about it. It just wasn't seated right, and so once I put it back in, in it's proper place, I had no more problems. As far as your oil pressure light coming on while you're turning or while on the highway, if it were my car I'd take it to the dealership and have them fix it. Since I don't know what's causing the problem, I can't tell you how much it'll cost to fix it, but I'd certainly get it looked at. I have used a private mechanic on my VWs for the past 27 years since I first began owning VWs and since I first came to know him as a mechanic at a local VW dealership and he clearly was an honest and capable man, I stuck with him ever since. He was a lot cheaper than the dealership, but if you don't have such a mechanic, you might want to look in your phone book for someone who advertises as working on VWs. In my area there is a shop that specializes in repair and maintenance and "remodeling" and "upgrading" of VWs and they have a better reputation in all ways than the dealership. Your oil is going to leak all over. If you don't know how to fix that, go get it fixed ASAP by a pro. Very IMPORTANT.
