Windscreen washer not working on my 1967 vw split screen camper?

the windscreen washer is not working on my 1967 vw split screen camper van, it is not an electric windscreen washer. when i push the button the water does go up the pipes but nothing comes through the jets.Windscreen washer not working on my 1967 vw split screen camper?The jets are probably blocked with dirt. If none of the above works, try purchasing an electric washer kit. I got mine thru JC Whitney's. It was a piece of cake to install in my '69 Bug.
