What kind of head lights does my VW Jetta 2009 have?

I am looking to get 12k HID lights on it... can anyone help me with what size bulbs they are and where i can get some good 12k bulbs for cheap. But first of all u have 2 options. 1. is u need to know if ur car came with standard xenon because my buddy has a 09 gli and his came with xenon stock. Putting an HID light in a halogen housing is illegal and will result in blinding other drivers and bad glare. Although some bulbs can fit, the lens and reflector is designed for a halogen bulb, not an HID.



12k kits are crap. The k rating has nothing to do with light output. True HIDs are about 4k.



If you want HID headlights, buy them from ecstuning or tmtuning. They sell real DOT approved VW headlight housings designed for an HID bulb.
