My VW, new beetle just overheated! Does anybody have any suggestions of what Ishould do?

Next time you have it running at operating temperature, feel the upper and lower radiator hoses. If the upper one is hot and the lower one is not, then its your thermostat. Did the coolant temperature gauge show that it was running hot before it over heated?My VW, new beetle just overheated! your belt on your water pump is broken take it to the dealer and they will be able to help you fix it i would not drive it to far it can blow the head gasket i will lay money on it that this is the problem these cars are known for this it must be around 70000 miles.on your car
