I would like to have a side view mirror on the passenger side but there isn't a hole for it. I replaced the driver's side with a new mirror - which was a cinch - and there was a threaded female nut-esque thing within the door panel. Is there an easy conversion available? Just drill holes for the nuts and bolts you want to use to hold the mirror on the door.How to mount a side view mirror 1968 VW Bug?A tube of superglue or mix up some cement. Or you could weld it on. Or just hold it out the window with your hand; that's a cheap fix.
