Can you replace a VW front light without paying dealer costs and fixing it yourself?

Or is this risky and can potentially damage the car? I'm a girl and don't know much about cars, I'm just tired of dishing out at least 40 bucks everytime my front left light goes out- and its always the same one.

And- warranty is expired. Can you replace a VW front light without paying dealer costs and fixing it yourself?there many places that are good and cheaper.

have them look for a wire that is shorting out and causing the problem. Can you replace a VW front light without paying dealer costs and fixing it yourself? You should be able to do it just fine. Your owners manual should detail the process of changing a bulb for your particular model. Now, VW might use a proprietary bulb design that might force you to buy the bulb from them, but you can still put it in yourself.

The only car I can think of which most people can't change a bulbs on is the latest generation of Chevy Malibu, which requires that you take off the entire bumper cover to access the bulbs. Sure, any backyard mechanic should be able to do it, but not the single mother of three who needs her car to just "Go" as a friend of mine put it.Can you replace a VW front light without paying dealer costs and fixing it yourself?would think so

go to auto store and ask the guy behind counter to help you
