Is it possible to convert a VW Type 1 to Front Engine/Rear Wheel Drive?

Just wondering if its possible to do, and, if it has been done, I'd really appreciate a link.Is it possible to convert a VW Type 1 to Front Engine/Rear Wheel Drive?I just took the body off the pan and used the body on a regular car frame %26gt;that has been shortened and a bunch of other welding%26lt; that has a V8.
