Is it worth putting a blow off valve on a vw passat?

I bought my wife a 04 VW Passat and now she wants a blow off valve, can it be done and is it a good idea?Is it worth putting a blow off valve on a vw passat?if it does not have a turbo , it serves no purpose aside from wasting money. if it does have a turbo, the bov is a safety device if you think about it protecting both your wife from really high speeds and the engine form extreme pressures.Is it worth putting a blow off valve on a vw passat?make sure you install the blow off valve BEFORE the air metering sensor. otherwise the pcm thinks its getting air that is not actually there. could really screw things up. and she really wants that annoying sound? is that thing even turbo??Is it worth putting a blow off valve on a vw passat?the car is turbopowered so i say go for it. i love the sound of the b.o.v.
