How do I repair a rip in my VW cabriolet convertible top?

I have a 1993 Volkswagen Cabriolet convertible and just last night someone broke into my car. They tried to cut through my top with scissors and somehow got the car door open and stole everything in my car. They made two big 4 to 5 inch rips on both sides of my car above the doors. There are multiple rips, almost in a T shape. What's the best and most inexpensive way to repair it? I love this car, please help! pool patches.



they are clear, you can use it on the window in the back if thats ripped.



they are waterproof. hence rain won't make it come off (unlike duct tape)

if you are very careful about the cement application, they become invisible to all but a trained eye.



go to your local pool supply store (i like american sales, or F.I.M) and get you about six of the pool patches, it soulds like you might need them later.
