no problems due to milage whatsoever. i made extensive modifications of the drive train and suspension when the car had 70,000 miles, the only things to break on the car were things i broke my own dumb self!

1992 GTI 16V, 2.0L- 140,000 miles, Close ratio "020" 5 spd Gearbox.



16 inch wheels with Kumho Ecsta MX tires(ttreadwear 40) and Bilstein Struts/Shocks, and Eibach springs, Nuespeed Sway bars and stress bars.



Actually drive to work everyday with it, I do put on winter tires , for safety when there is snow.

I own a 1972 VW Beetle 1302S (Super Beetle with a 1600cc engine), which I purchased in October 2006.

It has done around 107,000 genuine miles.

I get approx. 25 to 30 mpg, with a well-tuned engine.
