Car question: I have an unreliable '02 VW Passat and am looking at a Lexus is250. How will it handle?

I love how my car handles but it is sooo unreliable. I have taken the IS on 2 test drives but am still not sure if it will handle okay on the interstate. The IS350 has too much power for me so that is why I opted for the 250. I also drove an 08 accord, TSX and TL, and they were great just a bit uncomfortable. Any suggestions are appreciated. BTW I will not buy another German car, great handling but maintenance is brutal.Car question: I have an unreliable '02 VW Passat and am looking at a Lexus is250. How will it handle? It should handle fine. Its a a sporty car...

The 2.5 V6 should have plenty of pep.Car question: I have an unreliable '02 VW Passat and am looking at a Lexus is250. How will it handle?I've driven the IS250 twice, both times they were the base car (still awesome...heated/air conditioned seats, great stereo, AWD, you know the rest...) used as dealer loaner cars. I was so impressed by this car that I'd consider buying it if I needed another car. It is nothing short of fantastic on the interstate as well as around town/inner city streets as well. Visibility seems ample, and it is a very safe car. I highly recommend the Lexus, and just a friendly reminder, the CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) Lexus vehicles from a Lexus dealership come with a better warranty than the new vehicles do. We purchased a 2003 GX 470 back in 2005 with 34K on it, and now it has 110K on it. The CPO warranty goes 3 years/100K, whichever comes first. My GX has been perfect in regards to performance, reliability, comfort, everything!! You will not be disappointed!Car question: I have an unreliable '02 VW Passat and am looking at a Lexus is250. How will it handle?Very reliable vehicle. The handling is superb and the power band is decient for the size of the engine. The AWD will handle a little better than the RWD. Does great on the highway. Tires will wear a little fast but then again it is a sports car. As long you are not to agressive with the driving you should see good miles out of the tires.
