Buying a brand new VW Cabriolet - how much can i knock them down by?

I am looking at spending over 20k on a brand new vw beetle cabriolet - im looking at going to a dealer, but wondering how much I can actually knock them down by? When I queried my local branch, they tried to get me to take out finance (this is not an option as I am a cash buyer) to save me money. How much can i try it on with, without being unrealistic!Buying a brand new VW Cabriolet - how much can i knock them down by?Try 拢2,000+ for the dealers must be crying out for buyers.Buying a brand new VW Cabriolet - how much can i knock them down by?Go here. www.edmunds.com

Find the invoice price and go from there. Should be able to get it at or a couple hundred above the invoice price. Also when shopping for a car, never let them know how you are paying until you have agreed on a price. These days cash is NOT king. Dealers make more money if you finance, so they will come down on price if they think you may finance with them. Just tell them politely that you will talk about how to pay after you agreed on a price.Buying a brand new VW Cabriolet - how much can i knock them down by?a tip that a friend when he bought his solstice

after comparing prices for the vechical with dealerships in the state he walked right past the sales reps and went into the finance office he got two grand off by hageling then he got 4% off by not using a sales person

cash talks tell them you want to go 10% off the sticker price(not a great deal) and only pay that amount out the door you want them to wave the taxes, title , processing fees, all that you want to pay 2k lower then the sticker price and nothing else out the door the the finance manger(in mamny cases you can walk right into there office) the finance manager then will contact the floor manager/owner and you can play

defentley worth a try i mean you are asking for 2k off and because your waving the dealers fees which may be the same amount as the taxes in the state depending on the state the dealership isnt losing the money twice

this is really not a good time of year to buy a car though if you can hold out till around september or a month before they will be more willing to sell and you will get a better deal although you may trade off in selection

goodluck
