i have a 1962 meyers manx buggy and i want to make it road worthy. what would i need to make it so for b.c., canada?What would i need to make a 1962 vw bug legal to drive in canada?Any car legal to drive in the US is also allowed to be driven in Canada, as part of NAFTA.
If you want to register it in Canada, all you need to do is turn in the US license and title when you register it.
The link shows a much more complex process, but that is because it refers to newer cars that could have export/import duties, recalls, etc.
None of that applies for 1962 VW dune buggies I believe.
But you could read some of the Canadian docs at the link in order to be sure.
