What is the substance oozing out of bottom of doors on hot days on 2003 VW Jetta?

This appears to be some type of corrosion preventive as it has a waxy viscosity (similar to paraffin) and only oozes out on days when temperature is in excess of 90 degree F. It has been going on for about two years.
