I don't know what this means... I searched for it in the owner's manual but couldn't find it. There is an orange indicator light that looks like a light bulb with an exclamation mark in the middle. Does anyone know what it means?'01 VW Jetta - What does an orange indicator light that looks like a light bulb with an exclamation mark mean?Ck your manual on the brakes, it might tell what kind of light will flash up. That would be my guess. Or it could mean a service light. Okay, you said a "light bulb", could be that you have a tail light or headlight bulb out???? That is another thought. I have 2000 Beetle diesel, but I have never seen that light. I know that the check engine light will say "check engine". Might call your VW dealer and ask them. Surely they would have the courtesy to tell you what it is. Or simply call Volkswagen of America and ask them. www.vw.com should get you there to their website.'01 VW Jetta - What does an orange indicator light that looks like a light bulb with an exclamation mark mean?Hi,
That warning light indicates that you have blown an important exterior bulb somewhere in the car... could be a headlamp bulb, brake lamp bulb, indicator lamp bulb, etc. Best advice is to take it to the nearest garage who can check the lights and fix whichever bulb is the problem!
